CO-ED T-BALL DIVISION
Coed T-Ball is a division for boys and girls 5-6 years of age on June 1 of the current season that emphasizes a non-competitive environment, instruction in the fundamentals of baseball, and sportsmanship. This is an introductory version of baseball played with a soft cloth covered ball hit from a batting tee. No balls or strikes are called, and there is no emphasis on keeping score. All players take the field and are in the batting order, and everyone plays a minimum of two innings in the infield.
T-Ball Rules
8U DIVISION
Girls 8U is an instructional division for girls 7-8 years of age on January 1 of the current season (or 6 if they have completed a year of t-ball) that emphasizes a non-competitive environment, instruction in the fundamentals of softball, and sportsmanship. Teams play a version of softball where the coach pitches underhanded to his/her own team. No strikes or balls are called. Teams field up to 14 players with everyone playing a minimum of three innings in the field. All players are in the batting order.
8U Rules
10U DIVISION
Girls 10U is a division for girls 9 or 10 years of age on January 1 of the current season that emphasizes the fundamentals of softball and sportsmanship. Teams field up to 11 players with everyone playing a minimum of three innings in the field. All players are in the batting order. A league tournament is played at the end of the season.
